Itinerary overview

Chanshal valley is a link between the Dodra Kwar and Rohru located in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. The pass of Chanshal opens in May and closes in mid-October as it is fully covered by snow for the rest of the year. The place is considered true heaven, especially for nature’s admirers. Chanshal Lake located at the top is the ideal trekking spot if it’s your first time for adventure. The trek is a straight trek of 8km include few slopes. Itinerary idea in detail

Day 1: Shimla – Chanshal Valley

Our Chanshal pass tour will begin from Shimla. From where we will move further to our tor destination Chanshal valley by our cabs. The cab travel trip will take around 9-10 hours to reach Chanshal from Shimla including all the breaks we will take in between the travel. After reaching we will have a little bonfire session about the trip followed by dinner and bonfire and we will camp in Chanshal valley.

Day 2: Saru Lake

Day two of the trip will start with leisure time in which you can enjoy the beautiful sight of sunrise. In this time you can also go for exploring the surroundings on your own and capture some beautiful moments as the valley is full of picture square places which are photography delights. After breakfast is served we will start our adventure by trekking towards Saru Lake. The trek route passes through beautiful sites of meadows. The trek is easy and straight of around 4-5 hours. The lunch and night stay is planned near Saru Lake.

Day 3: Saru lake – Rohru

After having breakfast, the day is planned to trek back to Chanshal pass. The lunch will be served there. After lunch and relaxation, we will head out for trekking towards Chashal top which will take around 1 hour. At the top, we will spot the breathtaking view of the sunset. After the time of enjoyment, we will descent down to the campsite and end our day with dinner and some bonfire fun.

Day 4: Hatkoti – Giri Ganga – Shimla

The 4th day is the last day of our trip and will start it with a delicious breakfast then proceed for Hatkoti Temple and Gira Ganga Temple if time allows and then head back to Shimla. We will end the trip with beautiful memories and amazing fun.
